Here is a look at a newly acquired sketch by Brazilian artist Al Rio. This jungle girl character was originally featured on the cover of "The Art of Al Rio:Vol. 1" and completed at my request. I briefly considered having Al ink the piece after his agent Terry Maltos sent me a file scan for approval, but then wisely opted to receive it in glorious fully rendered pencil form. This is a nice large commission piece and it really pops off of the page. Enjoy!
